Welcome to the introductory edition of the Exposing Yourself monthly newsletter. This endeavor has taken a little longer to launch than initially planned, but I certainly appreciate your patience and interest in the digital imaging process.
I would like to begin by thanking all of you who have purchased `Exposing Yourself-The Artist's Guide to Digital Imaging.` If you have not purchased a copy, it will continue to be available for download at www.ExposingYourself.net for $19.95. I would also like to express my gratitude to all of you who have provided referrals as well as asked if you may refer others to the website. Absolutely!! I welcome any and all referrals for those who have struggled photographing their artwork.
Through the summer months I have received numerous inquiries and considerable feedback. I would like to take this first newsletter to address a couple of items relating to the format and function of the book. I went back and forth many times as I was preparing the book file for download. My original intention was to include images of the Photoshop screenshots etc. within the body of the book. However, as the completion of the book drew near, my need to have a clean text flow won out in the end. One of the advantages of having an e-book, though, is the ability to include clickable links in the document so I'm hoping you have been able to take advantange of the links I have included throughout the document. In order to access them through the book file all you need to do is have an active Internet connection then click the links. Most of them take you to the screen shot for the steps and processes I cover in the book. While the images are not directly available on the website! , if you would like to bookmark them for reference you can access the thumbnail index at http://www.exposingyourself.net/cgi-bin/images.pl. |
