It is no great secret traditional film photography is diminishing to make way to digital photography. In fact traditional film photography has been waning for years. There are scores of artists who shot their own slides for years and were satisfied with their results. Some of these artists have converted to digital imaging some are in the process and some are still thinking about it. However, there is still much frustration and confusion about photographing artwork digitally.
